Original Paintings
With this page I proudly display my labor of love. The preparation and execution of a painting requires the special blending of emotion with materials to create a lasting image. The mediums that I use are watercolors and oils, My choice depends on the texture and tones needed.

Just a few questions and answers...

For how many hours can you paint?

A productive day is 6 to 8 hours of painting. Distractions would be our show schedule or major televised sporting events such as golf, tennis or baseball.

Does your mouth get tired?

Actually, not at all. The mouth stick I am holding is quite light. It probably weighs less than 2 ounces. I don't bite on the mouth stick, I am just gently holding it between my teeth.

How long does it take to complete a painting?

The amount of time needed to complete a painting depends on the size. A large scene, (30 inches square), could require several months and a small painting a couple weeks. Normally I have four or more projects in progress at one time.

Which is your favorite painting?

When asked about my favorite, the most logical answer is the painting I have not done yet. The motivator is always the next big project.
